Kicking things off with a live recording from Semispecific Ensemble. The group's improvised music can vary wildly from show to show depending on the context and who is playing on the night. They favour short sets exploring a fusion of synthetic and acoustic sounds. This particular piece i was recorded in the Rum Shack when the group supported and collaborated with Soft Tissue last year. There will be another recording from Semispecific Ensemble at the end of this compilation showcasing a more upbeat style.
